Effective immediately a guest of a member may participate in our home tournaments, however their entry fee will be $10 more than a member's fee. The guest must have an SCGA approved handicap and is limited to 2 events during a calendar year. The guest may also participate in the side games, except the Hole-in-One pot. Guests are always welcome in the Ooter events.

| If you are planning on playing in any home tournaments at
Buenaventura, please try and let me know a minimum of 9 days prior to the
tournament, I do not need the names of the players in your group for a couple
of days, just the number. The reason for
this time frame is that I have to let the golf course know the player count 8
days prior to each tournament. March’s tournament is a perfect example why I need to have the number of players in your group. 8 days prior to this past tournament I had 48 players; I let the golf course know that I would probably have 68 players. By Monday afternoon, I had 78 players that wanted to play but I was only able to get room for 72 players due to it be a late notice so I ended up turning players away. I would like to have the names of the players in your group by Sunday evening. This will help me so that I can get the tee times out that Monday or Tuesday prior to the tournament. Effective with the April tournament those of you that have provided us with an e-mail address will receive an e-mail with a tee time listing. This is possible due to the new tournament program that we are using. This is just one of the things that your tournament committee is doing to try and improve your experience. One last thing, the Club does have an automatic sign-up list for all of the home tournaments. Though once you are on the automatic sign-up list, if you can NOT play you need to let me know (by phone or e-mail). If you normally play every tournament, the automatic sign-up list can save you time and/or postage and insure your entry is not late. Thanks, Bob Wilsher – Tournament Chairman |

Remember, guests are always welcome at OOTER’s. As this is an off day for Las Posas, there will be no food
